Lorenz Krisai
Lorenz Krisai is an Austrian architect and the founder of Lorenz Krisai Architects, an innovative architecture firm based in New York and active building projects on three continents.
He discovered his passion for design early in his childhood, inspired by the city of Vienna and the idea of the ‘complete work of art’: good design extends across scales and permeates every aspect of life - from buildings down to furniture and tableware.
His design approach is centered around making buildings that are purposeful, timeless and functional yet elegant. He draws inspiration from the local context and his own background to blend heritage and craftsmanship with innovation and imagination.
