Vessel of Light
Natcha Kucita created the Vessel of Light originally as an experimental art project, with the main purpose of exploring mindfulness through clay and slow making processes. V O L’s philosophy is to create less but with more attention to details. Each vessel emerges intuitively from the potters wheel to honor the beauty and spirit of the Unknown.
A series of hand-formed vessels draw inspiration from primitive forms - a reminiscence of the artist’s childhood both in Asia and Africa. The opted palette embodies earth, and the vessels are often moulded entirely by hand through pinching and coiling techniques.
