A wheel-thrown ceramic jar, finished with Tenmoku glaze in deep hues of glossy black and earthy browns. The Tenmoku glaze creates a surface with subtle variations in color and texture. Each jar is individually handmade, ensuring unique character and an organic feel, with variations in the glaze patterns making every piece one of a kind. This jar can be used for storing dry goods, tea leaves, or as a decorative piece.

The ‘Reclaimed Tea Set’ forms part of a collection of work inspired by the raw aesthetics of Brutalism. Constructed out of monolithic forms, geometric shapes, and raw, tactile surfaces, the design celebrates the rough, unfinished appearance characterized in brutalist structures, to create a collection that is both functional and sculptural, embodying the beauty found in simplicity and rawness.

The set is made out of reclaimed stoneware with natural and unglazed finish to the exterior and a transparent glaze to the interior.
